Amenities

Barbour Pointe has been designed with an assortment of amenities meant to complement an endless array that have alreadynatural-tag3 been provided by the surrounding marshes and waterways.  The amenity package at Barbour Pointe will allow each property owner to explore the natural beauty of the coastal environment and provide private access for the residents of Barbour Pointe.

Community Pavilion:
The Community Pavilion provides a unique gathering place for the enjoyment of the community residents.  The pavilion consists of restroom facilities, oyster cooking pit, grilling area and observation deck.  View rendering.

The Fish House:
The Fish House will be located next to the Community Dock access and will consist of an open air pavilion and observation deck.  View rendering.

Community Dock:
The community dock is the main access point to Salt Creek, Ossabaw Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.  The dock will have ample space for all residents of Barbour Pointe.


kayak-tag3 Canoe & Kayak Launch:  The tidal canal provides an excellent access point to Salt Creek near the community dock for canoe and kayak launching.  Community canoe and kayak racks will also be available for storage near the launch point.

Walking Trails:
  Walking trails have been provided throughout the community which allows each resident the opportunity to enjoy a variety of marsh and river views.  The walking trails encourage individual exploration of Barbour Pointe and the natural beauty of the community as a whole.

Conservation Area:  Barbour Pointe consists of over 31 total acres with more than 23 acres of marsh and upland acreage placed into a conservation easement to ensure that it is preserved in its natural state.  View Conservation Land Plan.
